Quality cost and delivery
Construction Quality Planning Guide, Draft for Consultation, Published by the Construction Innovation Hub in May 2020, suggests that Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) is: ‘An umbrella term for seven key performance measures originally developed by the automotive industry but now used to improve production performance across a wide range of industries. QCD includes the following, all of which use simple mathematical equations to analyse production performance: Not right first time (NRFT), delivery schedule achievement, people productivity, stock turns, overall equipment effectiveness, value added per person, and floor space utilisation.’
